WHAT IS THE STRATEGIC PLANNING CERTIFICATE?

The Strategic Planning Certificate is designed to help you strategically align the goals of your training organization with the goals of the business. In this program, you’ll learn the basic language of strategic planning, how to conduct analyses to inform your strategic plan and how to develop, implement and maintain your strategic plan. 

Founded in Training Industry’s Training Manager Competency Model™, this certificate is completed over two half-days, eight hours, in a virtual instructor-led classroom setting. Throughout that time, you’ll work with peers to discuss your own strategic plan and identify opportunities for improvement.

The Strategic Planning Certificate is designed for current, newly promoted or aspiring learning leaders who are seeking to understand the necessity of strategic alignment and how to create and maintain a strategic plan. 

WHY DID THIS WORKSHOP CHANGE TO A CERTIFICATE PROGRAM?

We expanded the program into a certificate to give participants more time to explore and apply the strategic planning tools in depth. The new two-session format allows for additional discussion, real-world application and feedback.

ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES FOR COMPLETING THIS CERTIFICATE?

There are no prerequisites to register, making this certificate ideal for anyone seeking to further their learning and development career. 

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM COST?

The program is $1,295.00 USD, which covers all course materials and the cost of enrollment. Prices are listed in USD, but the course can be purchased in any currency. WHAT WILL I RECEIVE WHEN I COMPLETE THIS PROGRAM?

Before the program, you will receive access to all digital materials, including the student workbook that you will use during the course. You will also receive access to a toolkit of job aids designed to help you apply course concepts on the job. Upon completion, you will also be awarded a certificate and a digital badge as a visual symbol of your achievement in completing the Strategic Planning Certificate. 

DOES THIS PROGRAM COUNT TOWARD RECERTIFICATION?

Yes. When you complete this program, you will earn credit hours (CEUs) toward leading HR and training certifications.
